Yet another Alt-0174 Award

I was all set today to talk about Disaboom, a website with resources and community features for the disabled. Pretty darn good name, in my book. I had such high hopes for reasoned discourse . . .
And then after I finished with the dead trees, I checked in with Nancy Friedman, and all was lost, irrevocably lost, to the glory and majesty of Momspit, "the universal no-rinse cleanser." Their slogan, "Inspired by the original," says it all. I will show this to my daughters and they will laugh and laugh, and most likely beg for me to buy some, as they certainly don't like it when I threaten to use "the original" on them. Excellent from a trademark perspective as well: It's suggestive, incongruous and distinctive — and the PTO granted registration easily.
There's really little more I can do other than commend you to the website, and bestow upon Momspit the coveted Alt-0174 award. I'm dazzled.
