Well, what can I say?  This post is brought to you by endless rain and writer's block — a dynamic duo if ever I've seen one. 

So rather than stew (more) I am annoucing that this weekend I am participating in the Seattle Walk to D'Feet ALS®, in memory of Geoff Perr, my next door neighbor when I was 12.  ALS is a horrible, fatal disease, and we are walking to raise funds for research to combat it.  Here's my walk page — take a look: http://web.alsa.org/site/TR/Events/EvergreenWalk?px=1612726&pg=personal&fr_id=3150.  Believe me, I'm as big a lox as they come, and the prospect of walking five miles in the rain isn't enticing, but as they say, the master is insistent.
